Conveyor & Bakery Brushes
Bakeries, chocolate factories, and other industries that use conveyor belts to move product require conveyor brushes. Brushes can be customized to work with a variety of products, including wet, dry, hot, sticky, dirty, or slippery.
Typically, these brushes come in one of two types:
• Rotary brush
• Stationary brush
As items move along the belt, the brushes are used to:
• Knock off loose debris
• Remove baked on/caked on debris
• Prevent buildup
• Clean the conveyor for the next line of products to be carried
• Separate solids from liquids
• Clean screens
Brush filament material, thickness, and texture will depend upon the intended use. Materials must also be chosen for heat resistance in some cases.
